WHAT IS TOPTRACER?
Toptracer is the technology at our driving range which tracks the balls and gives the player data which they can use for practice or it can bused to play fun game mode, which is great for new golfers! The introduction of Toptracer technology to driving ranges, golfers can now enjoy their practice and make the most of their driving range time by playing games like nearest the pin, longest drives and even teeing it up on an ever increasing number of famous golf courses including the likes of Pebble Beach. Toptracer technology has changed the way we view and the way we play golf.
HOW TO USE TOPTRACER!
Step by step guide:
- Press Start
- Scan the QR code on your smart phone by using the Toptracer Range App to log in
- Add additional players if required by scanning or manually entering each players name
- Select your Game Mode
- Depending on what bay you’re on it will be pre set to certain flag. To move the aim of your bay click on “RANGE MAP” and select your new target, this can be changed at any time.
- YOU ARE NOW READY TO PLAY
WHAT WILL BE RECORDED AS A TRACE?
A golf shot that carries more than 35 yards; enters the tracking zone for at least one second; and has approximately ten feet or more above bay level. High lob shots shorter than 70 yards are not considered shots.

This mode encourages guests to dig deeper into their golf bag and learn the details of each type of club. It also allows them to store those stats over time on the Toptracer Range Network.

WARM UP
This training mode allows players to improve their skills by offering data such as distance (carry and total), ball speed, launch angle, height, side deviation, landing angle, hang time and distance to target. This game mode is perfect for 25 balls before a round, round the Melbourn Course
– This game mode is designed for the statistician and the avid golfer.
Closest to the pin
There is nothing like a traditional and little friendly competition to get some excitement going in the bay. This game allows friends to compete while working on their swing. In our clubhouse we have running monthly leaderboards creating competitions within Kingsway, so definitely enter those!

Virtual Golf
This mode gives you, the player the opportunity to play some of the worlds greatest golf courses right from your bays. Individuals and groups can play a full 18 holes without having to leave the range. Perfect for all weathers, so you can keep you beating your pals!

Longest Drive
Who can hit it the furthest? This game lets guests settle the argument once and for all by turning the range in a proper long drive for up to 8 players. This game allows friends to compete while working on their swing. In our clubhouse we have running monthly leaderboards creating competitions within Kingsway, so definitely enter those!

Points game
This game is designed to let friends compete for points based on distance from the target and is great for people that love a friendly challenge. Guests can even add in air bonus rings for an extra challenge!

Go Fish
Fun for all ages and abilities, ‘Go Fish’ can be played individually or as a team of up to four people. Players bid to capture each of the 24 different sea creatures in their virtual aquarium by hitting shots to various targets on the driving range. As with other game modes, all players can sign in via the Toptracer Range app to view their progress and compare scores with friends.

Driving Challenge
This game is “allows golfers of all skill levels to “grip it and rip it” in a risk vs. reward nine-hole game scoring both distance and accuracy. Points are awarded for the length of the drive and its accuracy. If players don’t hit the fairway or the pin is obstructed from the next shot, there is a penalty. As with other game modes, players can sign into the Toptracer Range app to view progress and compare scores with friends.

Approach Challenge
This game mode is very similar to the driving challenge but just with approach shots into the green, the yards vary from wedge shots to long irons. The points work opposite to the driving challenge, the lower the better! . Hit your best approach shot on each hole and stick the pin.Be aware that shots into the rough or hazards are penalised, so hit them right.

Toptracer30
Toptracer30 is a new game mode designed by the team at Toptracer to help give you real insights on how to improve your game. Here’s some words on how it works: Toptracer30 consists of 30 shots: nine tee shots (on par 4s and par 5s) and 21 approach shots (three shots from seven different 25-yard distance brackets). As you hit each shot, T30 uses the strokes gained methodology to calculate how efficiently you move from point A to point B. At the end of the game, T30 generates an estimated performance handicap, a total game score, and a number of personalised insights that you can use to inform your next practice session.”
